Courses Prerequisites
Twin Set Diver
Prerequisites for Course Entry:
- Age
-
Candidate(s) should be 15 years of age at the time of the course entry with the parental consent.
- Certification
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from internationally recognized Open Water course
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from internationally recognized Advance diver program
- Prior Dive Experience
- Candidate(s) should have a minimum of 15 logged open water dives
Twin Set + Nitrox Diver
Twin Set + Wreck Diver
Twin Set + Narcosis Management
Full Face Mask Diving
Prerequisites for Course Entry:
- Age
- An Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver or current enrollment in one of those courses
-Minimum of 18 years of age
-Minimum age of 10 with parental consent
- Certification
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from a minimum of an internationally recognized Open Water course
- Prior Dive Experience
- No dives other than those requires for Open Water certification are required
Advance Nitrox
Prerequisites for Course Entry:
- Age
- Candidate(s) shall be legal of age of majority at the time and location of course entry and conduct
- Certification
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from a recognized Advanced Nitrox Diver course
- Prior Dive Experience
- Candidate(s) shall have a minimum of 50 logged open water dives, of which
10 of them have been between 27 meters (90 feet) and 40 meters (130 feet).
- All these depth shall be certified, not just logged
Extended Range Nitrox
Prerequisites for Course Entry:
- Age
- Candidate(s) shall be legal of age of majority at the time and location of course entry and
conduct
- Certification
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from a recognized Advanced Nitrox Diver course
- Prior Dive Experience
- Candidate(s) shall have a minimum of 75 logged Open Water dives, 20 of
them have been deeper than 30 meters (100 feet).
- Have used twin set configuration cylinders
Trimix
Level I-Trimix Fundamentals (60 meters)
Level II- Expedition Trimix (75 meters)
Level III- Explorer Trimix (100 meters)
Prerequisites for Course Entry:
- Age
- Candidate(s) shall be legal of age of majority at the time and location of course entry and
conduct
- Certification
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from a recognized Extended Range Nitrox or
equivalent diver course that included advanced decompression procedures to undertake Trimix I and II.
- Prior Dive Experience- Candidate(s) shall have a minimum of 100 logged open water dives, 30 of
them have been deeper than 30 meters (100 feet).
Advanced Level of Trimix Requirements
Level II- Requires the diver certified as PSAI Level I-Trimix Fundamentals
Level III-Requires the diver certified as PSAI Level II-Expedition Trimix
Closed Circuit Rebreather
Prerequisites for Course Entry:
- Age
- Candidate(s) shall be at least 18 years old at time of course entry.
- Certification
- Candidate(s) shall have graduated from a minimum of an internationally recognized Open Water course and hold PSAI Advanced Nitrox or equivalent advanced Nitrox and decompression skills course..
- Prior Dive Experience- Candidate(s) shall have 100 properly logged and verified dives under
varying conditions using open circuit diving equipment. Semi-Closed Rebreather usage will be considered as advantageous prior experience and each logged dive will count as two equivalent open circuit dives.
